Puget Sound U16 Power League Seeding Day Recap
A volleyball players U16 season is one of the most important of their junior career with regards to getting onto college volleyball coaches recruiting radar. The U16 teams of the Puget Sound Region took to the hard court before their winter break had even ended to get the year off to a great start in the Puget Sound Region U16 Power League Seeding Day tournament.
Space Needle 16 Reign on Power League Seeding Day
At the start of the day it looked like there was a good chance for all of the teams in the top flight of eight to be from South of the Seattle Area, but Washington Volleyball Academy 16 Mizuno and Lake VBC 16s made sure that the North end of the Region was represented. Sudden Impact VBC saw both of their 16s teams finish in flight 1. Puget Sound Volleyball Academy also saw two of their teams earn top flight spots as PSVBA 16 Steph held onto the number 1 seed and PSVBA 15 Jess managed to be the loan 15s team to reach flight 1.
LC Spikers 16 Black was a big mover on the day. They started the 32nd seed and finished in the nine seed, in flight three. Olympic Premier 16 Infinity started the day started the day 18th and finished ninth after losing a crossover match against Lake Tapps 16 Orange.
The next round of power league for the U16s will be played on January 24.
